challenge yourself to manage your health

This community was created as a support structure for people working to manage a healthy life style. Though this is primarily dealing with weight managemnt, you do not have to be overweight to join. I hope to see people of all sizes and shapes here.

every week, on your chosen day, post a 2 part challenge to yourself.

-The first goal is weight related: Do you want to lose a few pounds this week? Maintian your weight while on vacation? Gain a healthy ammount during your pregnancy? Remember, a healthy weight of weight loss is 1-2 pounds per week.

-The second goal should be a life style goal: What aspects of your life do you want to change in order to encorage your healthy growth? An example of this sort of goal would be starting an exersize plan, or a goal to stop thinking of yourself negatively.

As well, I encorage you to update us on how last week's goals went and on life in general. Feel free to post tips and articles that you find interesting.

1) pictures are welcome, but please keep it PG as this is not an adult only community.

2) Please keep posts on topic to weight management, exercize, and health. It can be tangiential ly related, but posts should fall within that sphere.

3) This is a supportive environment for all different types of people. If you make derrogatory comments or flame, you will be banned.
