Heya, everyone. I just wanted to say that I completed my 3-week challenge
. Although I missed two of the 21 days, I stuck with it...Yoga is now a definite habit of mine. I am up to 30 minutes a day, along with a separate cardio workout, and have lost 12 pounds this past month.
My diet is improving quite a bit, but I need to eat more frequently. I have still been eating only 1-3 times per day...I want to get it to 4-5 times per day, and eat less per each of those meals. What I eat has improved drastically, though. I am craving "better" foods, so that is really cool. I hope to lose another 10 pounds this coming month.
I am proud to say that I no longer question myself as I exercise (one of my last goals here was to not doubt my abilities while exercising). I do what I can, how I can, for as long as I can. In that, I have seen the largest improvements I have ever encountered within myself, physically and mentally. My flexibility is improving more than it ever has, and my mind set toward exercise and myself while working it is something to shout from the hilltops.
My next goals are somewhat long-term:
*To get down to 200 pounds (currently at 225) - giving myself three months, hopefully it won't take so long, but I can wait it out to see how my body feels on the situation.
*To start jogging late spring/early summer - I want to get my weight down to at least 200 before I start so I don't injure myself.
*To build my yoga practice up to an hour daily - this will take a while, but I am amazed at how my ten-minute routine exploded into 30 minutes within a month of working with it.
Other things I am impressed with about my body's changes: lung capacity, recovery time, and doooooood, triceps are peeking out of my arms. WooT! ;)
